Bed Bugs - (Order: Hemiptera - Cimex lectularius)
Characteristics: Adults, 5mm long, Reddish-brown in colour, Flat, Oval Insects with clawed feet so can climb rough but hard to climb smooth surfaces.
Life Cycle: Eggs are approx 0.8-1.3mm long and are pearly white in colour. Approx 4 eggs are laid each day and a single female can produce 150-345 eggs during her 4-6 month lifetime. Eggs then hatch into first stage nymphs, these young bed bugs, or nymphs, pass through five molts before reaching maturity. Nymphs appear similar to adults but are smaller in size and are not yet sexually mature. Young nymphs are also yellow/white in colour. In order to complete a molting stage, each nymph requires a blood meal. At normal room temperature, nymphs molt and become adults within five weeks.

Bed Bugs are a very common pest we deal with here at Artemis all year round. Treatment will involve the use of strong residual insecticides, sticky pads for monitoring and flushing agents. At Artemis we have a unique process we go through to eliminate Bed Bugs as quickly as possible saving the customer the headache of constantly getting bitten at night.
Treatments only take a few hours so you do not have to move out for a day or two! We use safe top of the range chemicals that allow you to sleep in the bed that night
Prices range from £75 to £350 on average however every call, location is different so prices really can vary - Call us and tell us your situation for a more tailored quote!
Don't be fooled by cheap products and services when it comes to insecticide treatments. We could do a spray for you as cheap as £35 but I I can promise you I wouldn't be very confident in that cheaper chemical working. The key to all pest control jobs is having the right chemicals and equipment for the job and if it sounds too good to be true be careful.
